Competentia acquires Link Oil & Gas Professionals Inc., significantly increasing its presence in North America

Link joins the Competentia Group with immediate effect, significantly boosting Competentia’s presence in North America. The Group doubles its consultant headcount as a result of the acquisition. Now employing more than 600 highly skilled oil and gas professionals worldwide, the Competentia Group becomes the largest independent Norwegian provider of technical professionals to the oil and gas industry worldwide.

Competentia will boast an expanded global reach with an increased ability to offer recruitment for contract staff, permanent hires, global mobility services and managed solutions to clients throughout the entire asset lifecycle of oil & gas projects worldwide; from exploration to production, storage, refining and distribution.

The acquisition of Link will both complement and add to Competentia’s suite of upstream oil and gas deliverables by significantly strengthening the Group’s presence in the midstream and downstream markets in the USA. Link brings with it an impressive portfolio of longstanding client relationships in the midstream and downstream sectors.
